Job: Social Media Executive

We are looking for a content executive for Social Media who will be responsible for writing content for social media channels, conceptualizing and ideating client campaigns from a content standpoint. The candidates will need to identify and implement strategies for leveraging social media and ensure that the brand perception is favorable amongst the online community.

It is important for the candidate to be curious and to contribute individually as well as collectively in cross-functional teams.

Primary Skills
  • Excellent command over English language.

  • Blogging CMS like Wordpress
  • Willingness to experiment
  • An analytical and creative bend of mind and clear communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook is a must

Social Media
  • Managing brand presence on social media platforms via FB, Twitter and communities across similar social networks along with basic hygiene of the brand profiles which include daily posting, timely updates as per current events, ORM and knowledge of competitor’s pages.
  • ORM: Online Reputation Management for the client

    involves replying to queries/ messages on the profiles,

    creating templates for replies, answering complaints with

    the best interest of the brand in mind.

  • Think & execute fresh ideas for consumer engagement across FB, Twitter and Google+
  • Writing and maintaining blogs and articles for the website.
  • Coordination with the creative team for managing graphic content.
  • Reviewing, editing & proofreading articles & posts-
  • Coordination with the client for updates on content calendar/ approvals/ design or content requirements.
  • Responding to fans/follower queries on an active basis.
  • Plan the projects assigned and manage time so that work does not suffer for any client.
  • Work on the insights on the engagement generated, basic health of the profiles, milestones achieved, etc on a fortnightly basis so that there is time to review the strategy. ROI to be measured in terms of Like, Follows, Shares, Comments, etc.
  • Regularly observing the online activity of the client’s social media channels and preparing reports on the social media best practices.
  • Assist the Manager in creating performance reports as per the desired frequency.
  • Measuring brand performance and growth on Social Media. Benchmarking against competing brands.
  • Using online tools for enhancing brand performance on social media such as scheduling tools, grammar checks online, comparing reporting tools, etc.

Ideation and conceptualization
  • You are expected to keep up to date with the current trends on social media and focus on a fresh approach and ideas for every client.

Overall brand image online
  • Keep up to date with the image of the brand online on Google, blogs, media mentions, etc from time to time for content generation.
  • Report findings and content ideas on a timely basis
